Asset Searches for Businesses

Nichol Investigative Services asset investigations provide you with significant information on individuals or companies that you may be investigating or considering doing business with. Private Investigators are frequently called upon to conduct asset investigations for a variety of reasons including:

  • Ongoing Litigation or prior to Filing Litigation
  • Property Sales
  • Investments
  • Due Diligence
  • Lending Money
  • Insurance/Claims
  • Discover Assets
  • Prospective Clients, Partners or Business Associates

NIS uses legal open sources and public records to uncover asset information and will provide you with a comprehensive written report.

Requests for credit reports will be declined. Federal privacy laws and the Fair Credit Reporting Act prohibit the release of credit reports under many circumstances and they do not specify assets under most situations. Private investigators also do not have the legal authority to access bank or investment account information, although there are many private investigators who claim that they have the ability to obtain financial information to include bank records, account information and other account details. The most effective way to get bank records or account information is with the customer’s consent.
